Portion Control
Today was Resistance Training in the morning and a toning class at night.
I’ve been trying to focus on portion control lately. I started to notice that if I have a plate of food, if I feel full, I feel compelled to finish it. I’ve started to stop eating when I experience fullness, and just put the rest away til later. It really has made a difference. If you feel your body doesn’t tell you when you are full, try getting a smaller plate. As we age, we need less calories to sustain us, but many of us continue to eat the portions we ate in our 30s. That can lead to excess weight. Try going for smaller portions, and you will see a difference.
