Building strength

I teach a small group training class every Saturday morning, and this morning I decided to do a resistance training workout with them.  It was tough and we used our own body weight for a good portion of class.

Using your own bodyweight is a great way to build strength and lean muscle mass.  It really works!  Pushups, dips, squats, lunges, planks; all are great in building strength.  Try it sometime:

Walkout plank to pushup  10 reps

Squat to Burpee    10 reps

Mountain climbers  20 reps

Lunge back to knee up  12 reps each leg
