Wednesday morning rest

Slept in a little longer this morning and purposely rested my body.  I feel sore especially in my arms, so I thought I would rest my body in anticipation of Cardio Resistance class tonight.  And it really worked.  I felt like I had a lot more energy to teach class than I normally do at this point in the week.  Goes to show that rest is just as important as working out. 

If you have been feeling a little sluggish and feel that you just don’t have the energy for your workouts than you usually do, maybe you haven’t been getting proper rest.  Make sure that you are allowing at least 1 day per week of total rest for your body.  Then when it’s time for your next workout, you might just be surprised at how much strength and energy you have!
