Great stage of life!

I got to thinking the other day about aging and different stages of life.  I’m about to turn 61 in a month.  That year flew by!  Remember my birthday transformation year?  Well now that’s a year later that I finished that!  I learned a lot during that time, and entered my 60th year on a high.

This year I’m in a different, but better place.  I feel like I have immense experience and credibility.  I really like my 60’s as strange as that may sound.  I’m at a place where I know what I want, I know who I am (the good and the bad) and I have credibility.

What is credibility?  Well according to a source, it is:

The quality of being trusted and believed in. It is the perception of the truthfulness, reliability, and integrity of a person, organization, or information source. Credibility is built on a combination of factors, including:

  1. Expertise: Having knowledge, experience, or qualifications in a particular area.
  2. Trustworthiness: Being honest and ethical, and demonstrating integrity in actions and decisions.
  3. Consistency: Providing consistent information and opinions over time, which can help establish trust.
  4. Transparency: Being open and clear about one’s motives, intentions, and sources of information.
  5. Reputation: Having a history of positive, reliable, and ethical behavior that others can vouch for.

In various contexts such as media, business, or personal relationships, credibility is crucial for gaining the trust and confidence of others. Without credibility, it can be difficult to convince others of your point of view or to build lasting relationships.

I do feel i have all of those qualities, and that makes me feel great!  I love what I do, I care about what I do, and the Lord willing, i will be able to keep doing what I do for a while.

How are you feeling about where you are?  Are you feeling victorious or defeated?  Why?  How can you change that?

I’d love to chat with you!  You can email me at any time and we can talk about any changes you would like to make.
