Find your strength

I went skiing on Friday morning and it was fantastic! What made it even better was
skiing with a good friend that I’ve known since 6th grade! We had the best time, and
marveled at how, at age 61 we could still tackle the mountain! It felt WONDERFUL!
(albeit COLD!)
I wanted to take a moment to share with you something that has been on my mind
recently – the incredible power and joy that comes from embracing our strength
when engaging in physical activities.
Too often, we may underestimate our own capabilities or feel discouraged by
societal norms or expectations. However, I truly believe that each and every one of
us possesses an inherent strength that can be tapped into and utilized to enhance
our enjoyment of various physical pursuits.
Whether it’s hiking, hitting the gym for a workout session, practicing yoga, or simply
going for a leisurely bike ride, our bodies are capable of remarkable things! By
taking part in physical activities and celebrating our strength, we not only improve
our physical health but also enhance our overall well-being and sense of
empowerment.
It’s important to remember that strength comes in many forms – it’s not just about
physical prowess, but also mental and emotional strength as well. When we push
ourselves outside of our comfort zones and challenge our limits, we not only grow
stronger physically but also cultivate a greater sense of self-confidence and
accomplishment.
So, I encourage you to embrace your strength – both inside and out – and let it
guide you as you embark on your journey toward greater enjoyment in physical
activities. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, remember that
every step you take towards embracing your strength is a step towards a happier,
healthier, and more fulfilling life.
Here’s to being strong and seizing every opportunity to revel in the joy of physical
activity. As always, I am here to help you with that! Just ask me!
