Handling Stress
Stress is something none of us can avoid. But how we handle stress is important, because not only does it affect our mood, emotional well being and general outlook, it also affects our bodies!
I recently had some things that made it impossible to exercise for a few days. I found myself edgy, feeling low, and generally in a foul mood. I quickly realized that my body, mind and spirit needed and missed exercise! I needed to move!
I am realizing more and more how much exercise and movement helps me to handle stress. When I exercise, I feel invigorated and afterward I feel a huge sense of calm. If you tend to avoid exercise, start moving and you will soon see how much it helps your stress levels. You will find yourself better able to combat the effects of stress and feeling better able to deal with stressful situations.
