Been stressed lately? Feel edgy and exhausted? Could be you need to exercise! In addition, during winter, when there is less daylight hours, your seratonin levels drop as well. This can lead to feelings of depression.

If you’ve never been on an exercise program, it can help beat stress and even depression. When you exercise, your body produce greater levels of serotonin, which produces overall feelings of well being. Exercise also helps to control the production of cortisol, which is produced when you are under stress. Cortisol is produced when you experience the “fight or flight” response of stress. There are many medicinal products to help you feel better, why not try exercise and see how great it can make you feel?😊

If you are a regular exerciser, and have lapsed, you will notice you feel edgy, and even depressed. Once your body’s endorphins levels rise and you experience the great feelings serotonin produces, you WILL miss it when its not being produced. So get back to the gym, fitness classes, fitness videos, or whatever you use and get back on track! It won’t be long before your body gets back on track and you feel better!
